Anies Receives Proposal to Discuss Education Raperda Soon

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan receives proposal from City Council's Regional Regulation Forming Agency (Bapemperda) who want to discuss about regulation draft (Raperda) related to Education Management and Implementation.

"I appreciate this proposal and we will cooperate to complete that Raperda," he said after plenary meeting at City Council Building, Tuesday (5/8).

Council Targets to Finish Draft Bylaw on Education in August

According to him, proposed Raperda will be discussed more specifically and detailed in terms of naming. This Raperda which is planned to replace Perda No. 8/2006 about Education System is hoped can reform education in Jakarta.

"We want children in Jakarta to have a complete and high quality education," he expressed.

Through this Raperda, he also hopes education quality in Jakarta can be equal with other developed countries in Southeast Asia.

"I hope this Rap erda can be a road map for it," he mentioned.
